Sevnica

Sevnica municipality lies in the northwestern part of Posavje. The basin with a magnificent landscape is surrounded by the Posavje hills, on the right river bank the landscape rises slowly up in the direction of the Dolenjska region. Woody areas and a mild climate offer various possibilities for different sports and recreation in general.  The municipality is known mostly for its textile industry, linen industry, metal and chemical industry.
